Tito Lee aka. Antej Farac is a director and media artist. Descended from a family of Coptic lighthouse builders in Dalmatia, he was born 1972 in former Yugoslavia, is Swiss and German citizen.

From his earliest work, the son of a painter and a philosopher, he has explored the limits between technology, and art. He started painting at the age of 11 and programmed his first video game. As a 14-year-old radio DJ, he introduced emerging electronic music to the region. After finishing technical high school specialized in electrotechnics, his multifaceted interests led him to study in parallel at the Sarajevo Art and Film Academies until 1992. In 2004 he completed his studies as director and engineer at the Munich School of Film and Television. During his studies, he worked for various broadcasters and advertising agencies. Parallel to his media work, Lee is active in various music projects as a beatmaker and DJ. With a special interest in experimental sound design, he composed for advertising, film and theatre and made the music for all his own works.

The combination of his technical and creative skills led to various professional roles in the film and advertising industry. He worked as a consulting dramatist, scriptwriter and editor, as well as a visual effects supervisor and director. In 1998, as a 26-year-old student, his unconventional, video clip created for the electronic retail chain “Saturn”, entered the official competition for Cannes Golden Lion.

This was followed by various assignments as creative director for advertising campaigns and media events as well as fashion shows. Having worked on over 200 projects for the industry, he absorbed the language of popular culture. In his debut, Death of Techno, he transformed this into a post-neorealistic vision of the turn of the century and since then, he has focused more on his artistic work.

In 2006, he founded the artistic collective and company El Patrol. The collective was established as a corporate entity with the aim of providing a platform for a wide range of creative activities. Tito Lee describes himself as a digital shaman who creates conceptual multimedia works based on magic and rituals by fusing art and technology.
